CONNECTED PRACTICE SOLUTIONS

Strengthening Safeguarding Practice Every Day

Child welfare has never been more demanding. Practitioners and supervisors are expected to make complex decisions, build meaningful relationships, maintain high-quality recording, participate in supervision, work collaboratively across agencies and continually evidence the quality of their practice—all within limited time.

Our Connected Practice Solutions have been developed to maximise that time, helping practitioners, supervisors and leaders focus more of their energy on the work that makes the greatest difference to children and families.

Technology should never replace professional judgement. It should strengthen it.

Designed Around the Realities of Child Welfare

Across every organisation we work with, we hear many of the same challenges.

"We don't have enough time."

"Practitioners are overwhelmed by competing demands."

"Supervisors want to spend more time developing practice rather than checking compliance."

"We have valuable learning, but struggle to turn it into meaningful organisational improvement."

Time is one of the most scarcest resources in child welfare.

Our Connected Practice Solutions have been designed to help organisations make better use of that tim, not by asking practitioners and leaders to do more, but by helping them do the things that matter most more effectively.

Each solution has a clear purpose, whether strengthening professional questioning, improving referrals, supporting reflective supervision, coordinating family networks, developing confidence through AI simulation or turning organisational learning into meaningful action.

Together, they help practitioners spend more time strengthening safeguarding practice and less time reinventing processes, searching for information or duplicating work.

Supporting Practice at Every Level

Every Connected Practice Solution has been designed to strengthen a different part of safeguarding practice.

  • Some support frontline practitioners.

  • Some strengthen reflective supervision.

  • Some improve the quality of referrals and professional questioning.

  • Some help practitioners build, coordinate and sustain naturally connected family networks.

  • Others strengthen organisational learning by turning workforce feedback, quality assurance and practice insight into meaningful improvement priorities that can be planned, implemented and tracked over time.

Together, they create one connected practice ecosystem that strengthens safeguarding across every level of the organisation.

Our suite of solutions

Each Connected Practice Solution has been designed to solve a genuine challenge experienced by child welfare organisations.

Together they form one connected safeguarding ecosystem that strengthens practice, supervision, leadership and organisational learning through one shared safeguarding philosophy.

Whether organisations implement a single solution or the wider ecosystem, every solution contributes to the same ambition:

Strengthening safeguarding practice every day.

Practice Simulation Library

The Simulation Library allows practitioners to rehearse real safeguarding conversations in a safe, supportive learning environment before they happen in practice.

Users simply describe the family, situation or area of practice they want to strengthen. The AI-powered simulator then creates a realistic practice scenario where the practitioner responds exactly as they would in real life by typing what they would say throughout the conversation.

As the simulation unfolds, the practitioner receives live coaching and feedback on the quality of their communication, questioning, analysis, empathy, professional curiosity and safeguarding practice. The conversation adapts dynamically to the practitioner's responses, creating an authentic learning experience rather than a scripted exercise.

At the end of every simulation, the practitioner receives a personalised practice review highlighting:

  • What they did well.

  • Opportunities to strengthen their approach.

  • Alternative questions and responses they could have used.

  • Practical suggestions to improve confidence, judgement and decision-making in future conversations.

Whether preparing for a difficult home visit, strengthening motivational interviewing, practising risk conversations or developing greater confidence in challenging situations, the Simulation Library provides unlimited opportunities to learn, reflect and improve—without placing children or families at risk.
